Cherry Bombe is honored to announce that Gloria Steinem (!) is our closing speaker at this year’s Jubilee conference, taking place Saturday, April 12th, at The Glasshouse in Manhattan.
Gloria is the writer, lecturer, political activist, and feminist organizer known around the world for her trailblazing work. She is the co-founder of Ms. Magazine and founding president of the Ms. Foundation, the national multi-racial, multi-issue fund that supports grassroots projects to empower women and girls. She also helped found numerous organizations, including the Women’s Action Alliance, the National Women’s Political Caucus, and Women’s Media Center, and was president and co-founder of Voters for Choice, a pro-choice political action committee for 25 years.
Gloria will be in conversation with Amy Richards, the author, organizer, and Emmy-nominated producer. (You can find Amy and Gloria’s full bios at cherrybombe.com.)
Jubilee is a beautiful day of connection, insightful talks, and great food and drink. Our very first Jubilee was held in 2014 as a way to bring women and culinary creatives together for networking and community building. We are thrilled to continue this annual tradition today and would love for you to join us.
